Nymphya is a California‑based ethereal art‑pop singer, songwriter, and author whose work blends mythic imagery, esoteric narratives, and cinematic soundscapes. Her lyrics speak in archetypes and dream‑language, inviting listeners to experience her music on emotional, symbolic, and deeply personal levels. Rooted in art‑pop and art‑rock, her sound carries hints of folk, world, classical, and electronic influences.
Her albums and book - Dream Dance, Naked Kate, Curios, and What Have I Forgotten? - form a constellation of enchanted worlds where magic, music, and imagination meet.

Nymphya is the creative project of Valentina Osinski, a professional opera singer and multi‑disciplinary musician. After the unexpected passing of her fiancé, record producer Keith Keller, in 2006, she transformed grief into creation - building her own recording studio and crafting Dream Dance as a tribute to him. Three albums, millions of viral video views, and one book later, Nymphya toured the UK with British singer‑songwriter Rose Thorn in 2024 with their acclaimed show Outside of Time: Magical Music from the Dreamery.
Nymphya’s newest releases are streaming everywhere. Current projects include her next UK tour and a forthcoming compilation CD.
Prior to launching NYMPHYA, Valentina Osinski has appeared throughout the United States as an opera singer (NYCO and SF Opera), actor (Magic Theater), performer and musician, guesting on numerous soundtracks for television, film and commercials (Time/Life Warner, IMAX, and Garfield), on multiple CD projects for recording artists (Sky Cafe and Royal Fingerbowl), backing up John Cale (The Velvet Underground) on the Tonight Show, appearing on MTV with her group Screaming Divas, and opening for Todd Rundgren at the Fillmore in San Francisco, for George Benson at Villa Montalvo, and Dana Carvey at the Shoreline Amphitheatre.
NYMPHYA has released four projects: her all original debut, DREAM DANCE (December 2017); NAKED KATE, an all-acoustic anthology of Kate Bush covers (December 2019); the six-song sampler EP CURIOS (October 2021); and her third album, WHAT HAVE I FORGOTTEN? (August 2023), a progressive art-pop concept album with a 170-page illustrated companion book, crowdfunded on Kickstarter in October 2022 and selected by Kickstarter as a “Project We Love”.
Two of NYMPHYA’s songs have gone viral: “Beachcombing” and “May Queen” each earning over 1 million views on multiple platforms. Her latest single, “Unwanted Goodbyes,” was released in May 2026. In September 2024 she toured the UK with Rose Thorn in Outside of Time: Magical Music from the Dreamery, and a streaming release of the concert is on the way.
Awards and recognition include Best of the Beyond (SF Weekly), Best Featured Actress in a Musical (Bay Area Theatre Critics), Best Vocal Arrangement (Harmony Sweepstakes) and the Wishard A. Brown Marin Symphony Award.
